Atlas of Animal Adventures wins Best Children’s Travel Book at the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards

Congratulations to Wide Eyed Editions in wining Children’s Travel Book of The Year at the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards with Atlas of Animal Adventures

The book was up against though competition including others from Frances Lincoln Children’s Books: A Year Full of Stories and A Walk on the Wild Side, but beat them to be voted most for by the general public for “For inspiring a love of travel, exploration and adventure”. The Prize was sponsored by National Book tokens.

Atlas of Animal Adventures book together nature’ s most unmissable events from between the two poles, including epic migrations, extraordinary behaviors, and Herculean habits. Find hundreds of things to spot and learn new facts about every animal.

The Edward Stanford Travel Writing Award was set up in 2013. It aims to find those books that have encouraged “more travellers to put down their selfie-sticks and pick up their notebooks.”
