Three Quarto titles have had success at The Homemaker Art & Craft Book Awards 2016 – a new scheme which was introduced earlier this year by Homemaker Magazine. The award ‘aims to honour a variety of wonderful books that have been adored by the creative nation in the past 12 months.’
The Shopkeeper’s Home by Caroline Rowland from Jacqui Small was crowned Winner of the The Best Interiors Book. Judge Wayne Hemingway MBE praised the book: “The Shopkeeper’s Home by Caroline Rowland is a genius idea. It allows you to get inside the homes of the coolest indie interiors retailers, and a lot of inspiration can be found there.”
Another two Quarto books were highly recommended from the judges; in The Best Design Book category– Modernist Estates by Stefi Orazi from Frances Lincoln and in the The Best Wildcard Book category – Decorate for a Party by Holly Becker & Leslie Shewring, Jacqui Small.
