Five Quarto Publishing Group authors will be among the judges for the 2016 EDDY Awards. The EDDY Awards are a celebration of excellence in publishing—from food writing to coverage of social issues to exceptional photography and more. The awards celebrate the voice of independent publishers covering local food, season by season. Judges for this year's awards include Warren Bobrow (Cannabis Cocktails, Mocktails, and Tonics), Erin Coopey (Infusing Flavors), Amanda Feifer (Ferment Your Vegetables), Autumn Giles (Beyond Canning), Emily Han (Wild Drinks & Cocktails), Amy Kimoto-Kahn (Simply Ramen), and Shawn Steiman (The Little Coffee Know-it-All). A panel of more than 50 judges including chefs, authors, editors, farmers, activists and bloggers narrowed down a huge number of entries to arrive at the finalists.
