Fairfield author to unveil 'Star Trek' compendium

When Bob Greenberger came to the first "Star Trek" convention in New York City in 1972, he discovered that the universe of the sci-fi show went far beyond the bridge of the USS Enterprise.

Now he's written a book about his favorite sci-fi show. Star Trek: The Complete Unauthorized History focuses not just on the show and the people behind it, but on the fans as well.
