The March issue of Guitar Aficionado dedicated six pages to Rockin' Garages. The article starts with an introduction from author Tom Cotter, followed by three excerpts from the book.

Read one of the Rockin' Garages excerpts that also appeared on the magazine's website. The chapter features Sammy Hagar, Jimmie Vaughan, and Doobie Brothers guitarist Patrick Simmons, who invite readers to view their very private — and ever expanding — car and motorcycle collections.

Corvette Racing Featured in Maxim

February 6, 2013, the website of Maxim Magazine, has recommended that Corvette lovers the world over will fall in love with Motorbooks new title Corvette Racing: The Complete Competition History from Sebring to Le Mans.

Maxim posted a slideshow of photos from the book and said, "Pictured in racing venues from endurance events and hillclimbs to drag strips and GT races over all six decades of its existence, the Corvette has never looked better."

Carroll Shelby: Cobra Creator and American Racing Legend Dies

May 11, 2012
Carroll Shelby, a leader in the development of performance automobiles, died May 11 in Dallas, Texas. He was 89.

A chicken farmer turned race car driver, Shelby brought the Cobra to the race tack and the Mustang pony car to the streets. He's been a longtime icon of the automotive industry and being named to the Automotive Hall of Fame and the International Motor Sports Hall of Fame are just two of hundreds of honors he earned from the industry during his long career. His authorized biography,
Carroll Shelby, was released earlier this spring.
