Special Sales Executive

The Quarto Publishing Group is a leading global publisher of award-winning illustrated non-fiction adult and children's books. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our Special Sales Team based in our London head office.
The Special Sales/non-traditional side of the business is growing fast, and we need to maximise sales opportunities from both existing and new accounts. For this role you will manage an established list of accounts and importantly also search for new business opportunities within non-traditional books sales markets i.e. gift retailers, toy retailers, subscription box suppliers etc.
The ideal candidate for this position will have some experience of sales ideally, but not essential, within book sales. Have an interest in book publishing with a creative mindset to proactively look for new sales opportunities. They will need to be a top communicator with excellent organisation and written skills, the ability to work to deadlines as well as prioritising workloads. Initiative, an eye for detail and team spirit are all qualities we are looking for, whilst excellent IT skills are essential for this role.
