Three Quarto titles have had success at The Homemaker Art & Craft Book Awards 2016 – a new scheme which was introduced earlier this year by Homemaker Magazine. The Shopkeeper’s Home by Caroline Rowland from Jacqui Small was crowned Winner of the The Best Interiors Book. Another two Quarto books were highly recommended from the judges; in The Best Design Book category– Modernist Estates by Stefi Orazi from Frances Lincoln and in the The Best Wildcard Book category – Decorate for a Party by Holly Becker & Leslie Shewring, Jacqui Small.

Amelia Earhart and Mabrook! A World of Muslim Weddings, both from Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, and The Hello Atlas from Wide Eyed Editions have been selected as part of the Notable Social Studies Trade Books for Young People 2017 in the US. This annual cooperative project of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) and the Children’s Book Council aims to gather “an annual reading list of exceptional books for use in social studies classrooms, selected by social studies educators.”
