Book Sales has been in the business of publishing and supplying books to wholesalers, mail order companies, and retail stores for almost 60 years. Our imprints include Chartwell Books, Wellfleet Press, Castle Books, Crestline Books, Poplar Books, Knickerbocker Press, and Blue & Grey Press, as well as a number of distributed lines - all publishing high-quality illustrated books and reprints.

In addition to the books we publish, we are one of the largest purchasers of other publishers' overstock (remainder) titles for resale at significantly reduced prices.

Publishers Weekly reports that over the past three years, Quarto Publishing Group, USA has focused on growing its cookbook list. In 2012, it had 35 food and cooking titles, many on what were then considered niche subjects like vegan cooking and low-sodium food. Today, the press has tripled the number of titles on its list to more than 100. And it launched a new initiative, This Is Your Cookbook, to allow consumers to produce and print high-quality hardcover cookbooks with their own or favorite Quarto recipes. Read More.
