Classic Koffmann, published by Jacqui Small – an imprint of The Quarto Group, has been shortlisted in the 2017 James Beard Foundation Book Awards in the ‘Cooking from a Professional Point of View’ category. The book was chosen to be in the shortlist as it contributed "to the growing canon of information and knowledge about food and beverage. Content, accuracy, design, and writing style are among the elements considered." The Book Awards Committee selects the Cookbook of the Year from among the nominated books in each category. Each year the committee also inducts a classic cookbook or an author's body of work into the Cookbook Hall of Fame. The Book Awards that are administered by the James Beard Foundation were started in 1966 by French's Mustard as the R. T. French Tastemaker Awards. They were administered briefly and in turn by Duncan Hines, Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, and the International Association of Culinary Professionals. The James Beard Foundation took them into the fold in 1990. The book itself offers a masterclass in all that's best in the French culinary tradition from an array of many different chefs.

Three Quarto titles have had success at The Homemaker Art & Craft Book Awards 2016 – a new scheme which was introduced earlier this year by Homemaker Magazine. The Shopkeeper’s Home by Caroline Rowland from Jacqui Small was crowned Winner of the The Best Interiors Book. Another two Quarto books were highly recommended from the judges; in The Best Design Book category– Modernist Estates by Stefi Orazi from Frances Lincoln and in the The Best Wildcard Book category – Decorate for a Party by Holly Becker & Leslie Shewring, Jacqui Small.

Volcanic Wines – Salt, Grit and Power by John Szabo MS. and published by Jacqui Small, has won the André Simon Food and Drink Book Award 2016 for Best Drinks Book of the Year. The André Simon Awards were founded in 1978 to recognise the achievements of food and drink writers and are the longest running awards of their kind.
