July 17, 2015
Fred Levy, author of The Black Dogs Project, will be one of 24 photographers featured in the Best of ASMP list for 2015.

The American Society of Media Photographers is the premier trade association for the world's most respected photographers. ASMP is the leader in promoting photographers' rights, providing education in better business practices, producing business publications for photographers, and helping to connect purchasers with professional photographers. Founded in 1944, it has nearly 7,000 members in 39 chapters and their website attracts over 200,000 UVPM. Many of those members are working photographers, but the organization is also influential and popular with photography students.

The Black Dogs Project is a stunning photo series focusing on Black Dog Syndrome, the unfortunate phenomenon that black dogs are frequently the last to be adopted and the first to be euthanized in rescue shelters.
