Noah Scalin, author of Unstuck: 52 ways to get (and keep) your creativity flowing and 365: A daily creativity journal, was the guest at a "meet the author" event at the Muhlenberg branch of the New York Public Library November 17.

Scalin is the Virginia-based creator of Skull-A-Day, the Webby Award winning daily art project blog. Unstuck is his newest effort, and encourages readers to explore the creative arts, whether it's for a 30-second project or a much longer production.

His previous book, Skulls, features 150 pieces from the project, and has been honored by the Young Adult Library Services Association and The New York Public Library. His internationally exhibited work has also appeared on the Martha Stewart Show.

A lifelong activist, Noah founded the award-winning, socially conscious design and consulting firm Another Limited Rebellion in 2001. An adjunct faculty member in the graphic design department at Virginia Commonwealth University, Noah teaches Design Rebels, a course on socially conscious graphic design.
