Vegan Nights is where Londoners congregate to sample the very best of the UK’s plant-based street food. Launched in 2017 it is recognised globally as the largest night market especially dedicated to vegan food.
Situated at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, Vegan Nights sits in the heart of East London’s insatiable vegan community and regularly welcomes over 3,000 people through its doors. Since launching it has become the London destination for lifelong vegans and the vegan-curious to socialise, hang out and explore over 40 different food stalls dealing out the best in plant-based snackery! In this their first cookbook, Vegan Nights recreate the buzz, atmosphere and mouth-watering delicious-ness of their events with 50 recipes from their most popular vegan junk food vendors including Biff’s Jack Shack, Phung Kay Vegan, Lazy Boy Kitchen, Arancini Brothers, Little Leaf Pizza and Cookies and Scream. Organised by type of dish, there are ideas for snacks, meals, desserts and drinks including: Bao Buns with Pulled Shitake, Tofish n Chips, Vegan Maki Rolls, Sticky BBQ Tempeh Bites and more.
This book lets you take a little bit of the event home so whether you’re a dedicated attendee or live outside of London, you can create your very own Vegan Night at home – so get the tunes on and get ready to elevate your vegan dinner to the next level.
Vegan Nights launched in September 2017 as a one-off night market and plant-based party at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. The event immediately smashed expectations when nearly 3,000 people descended upon the 500 capacity venue. There was a clear appetite to see Vegan Nights become a regular event to meet the demands of East London's insatiable vegan community. Now, Vegan Nights is recognised globally as one of the pioneering and largest vegan food celebrations!
Adopting a festival feel, the location of Vegan Nights currently stretches comfortably in excess of 50,000ft² of the Truman Brewery and boasts a huge outdoor food court and nightclub. With a carefully curated line-up of around 40 food stalls, plus their own creations made in collaboration with Beyond Meat and Moving Mountains Foods, serving the biggest and best selection of plant-based street food and desserts, Vegan Nights really is the best place for lifelong vegans to socialise alongside punters merely curious to see the latest seitan creation. Come for the food, stay for the (vegan) beer, DJs and inimitable atmosphere.
