Born in Lincolnshire, Sally Whitehill’s first foray into show business was as an eight-year-old playing ‘Marta’ in a school production of The Sound of Music. This led to a number of challenging roles, which included a vole and Queen Victoria. Deciding that her talents lay in more of a behind-the-scenes capacity, she went on to work as a literary agent in London before accepting a fellowship from the British Film Council to explore the agency business in Los Angeles. Her quest for a job in which the highest number of Angelenos are required to be the least rude to her has led to stints producing television shows and working as a television executive. She lives in Los Angeles with her leading man and young family.
