Christopher Hilton
The late Christopher Hilton was a leading authority on contemporary and historic motorsports and has written more than 30 books on the subject, specializing in biographies on modern Formula 1 drivers. He produced a groundbreaking study of the Donington Grands Prix of 1937 and 1938 as well as the definitive biography of motorcycle champion Mike Hailwood. In addition to being a well-respected former sports journalist with the Daily Express who became a prolific book author, Hilton wrote best-selling biographies of Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher in addition to numerous other motor racing, sports, and history books. His books have been translated into 15 languages.
