Description Description This delicious cookbook brings you all the tastiest treats from the iconic Get Baked bakery, with 40 of their most delicious and visually appealing recipes.

The Get Baked bakery in Leeds shot to fame during 'Sprinklegate', when its founder, Rich Myers, brilliantly capitalized on the banning of his use of US sprinkles. Rather than going quietly, Rich declared he would never use the inferior British variety and boycotted all sprinkles until he had created a UK version that does the job to his satisfaction!

With Expen$ive Sprinkles now launched, they need a bold dessert to go on and Get Baked has developed a range of cookies, brownies, cakes and pies which are high on the taste and indulgence spectrum, but relatively straightforward to recreate – definite crowd pleasers.

This book brings you 40 of Get Baked's most popular creations, including their Lemon Meringue Pie, Raspberry Glazed Donut Cookie, Mr Pistachio Pie, Purple Haze, S'Mores Brownies, Grapefruit Bars and H2O truffles, culminating in the famous ‘Bruce’, a 24 layer giant consisting of chocolate sponge and ganache, that people travel far and wide to buy.

This book offers a fun and accessible way to enjoy these unique recipes, meaning bakers of all abilities will enjoy the tasty treats and sumptuous creations from this increasingly popular brand.

Rich Myers ‘Mr Sprinkles’, originally founded Get Baked when he was at Manchester University just over 10 years ago. He saw a gap in the market for the late-night delivery of bakes and desserts, something really only just starting to be developed by Just Eat at that time. Rather than give commission to another selling platform, he developed his own delivery team and still delivers direct to this day. He has worked in the food industry ever since, putting baking to once side to work in the burger restaurant for a time but returned to his first love just before the pandemic hit, plans to relaunch Get Baked were able to kick off fully in summer 2021 and he has major plans for growth and expansion.
