I bet this would make the most adorable summer birthday party hat. But since there are no little “peeps” in my world, I will surely be pinning this to my Easter board and be making them in all sorts of color combos for next Easter decorations!

Wee Bunny

Velveteen, Calico, Easter: Who doesn’t love a little bunny? This rabbit definitely evokes a sense of spring, when baby bunnies are most abundant. To sit better on a little head, I made this hat proportionately smaller and put plenty of interest in back for when that little bunny hops away.

I added a lot of small pattern to this hat in spring green and lavender to softly contrast with the bright white. Chocolate brown and yellow or light brown and pink are wonderful color combinations, too. You can find many origami or scrapbook papers with tiny patterns, which would be just right for this design.

Note: This design was made as a medium-size hat.
